Hearing the word halotherapy many of us think – salt cave. Unfortunately, the vast majority of so-called. salt caves lack the basic and most important element in halotherapy – salt aerosol. Unauthorized is when talking about the salt cave as halotherapy center.
Halotherapy is a method of spa treatment which is the essence of breathing air rich in salt aerosol. For the first time the healing properties of dry salt aerosol in Poland were confirmed by Dr. Felix Boczkowski. In a book published by him in 1843, describes a method of Halotherapy treatment. Conclusions were drawn on the basis of long-term follow-miners working in a salt mine in Wieliczka.
