There may be various risk factors for allergy. Studies have shown that there are the two main groups: genetic and environmental. Please read them to know if our family are allergic.
Genetic
Clinical studies clearly showed an increased risk of allergy in children, in the case where at least one of the parents suffering from allergy – risk may then be approximately 40%. When both parents are allergic, the risk may be as high as 60% or even more. Interestingly, a greater tendency to collapse an allergy to boys, also the risk of allergies in children increases when the mother is allergic.
Environmental
The environment in which children grow up today in developed countries are far different from those of a few decades.
